Baby photoshoot? Being the oldest sister is no laughing matter!
Imagine that one day in your childhood you just wake up as usual and realize that in the meantime you are going to become a big sister. It is such a big responsibility! Because who else will explain the traffic code or the things about shining and shooting stars to this mummy’s tummy inhabitant? And who else off course can teach the new baby how to stick its tongue out and to make faces during taking photos? And don’t forget about teaching baby how to bake muffins, because there is no hope parents can do this. They didn’t even watch Fixies!
Oh and don’t forget about all the things to tell and to show! So you start preparing for this meeting with all due responsibility. Here is the candy wrapper collection and there is the lucky stone hidden in the drawer. And if you spring the lines on the ground over while walking and say some spells in the right order you can make wishes. Oh and don’t forget about fairytales, you can’t let the baby live without knowing who the Moomins are. Actually you even start to clean up better to set a good example for the baby.
And you, baby! You need to watch and learn. It is so interesting for me what do you do in mom’s tummy? Sometimes I think you play football because your kicks can shake mommy. You know, our mommy is very beautiful. You just don’t paint her like I used to – blond with long braids, because she has dark shoulder-length hair. And our daddy has a beard. It’s barbed and you’ll like to scratch your cheeks on it. Daddy is very kind and he laughs very loud. When you are born we will go to eat ice cream altogether, and maybe our parents will buy us some chewing gum. You just don’t wait for too long and grow your teeth!
Please don’t be late. I have dolls and plush giraffe and my yellow boots. I know there are just a couple of weeks left but what if you don’t recognize me? But I’ll show you around later and there will also be a lady who will come to take photos of us. I’ll teach you to stick your tongue out later and for now I will just cuddle you. And even if I cry! I just look forward to seeing you more than anyone in the world.
